Tecmo Super Bowl Community     |   home Rules of the TSBC League GENERAL 1st Each owner will select a team.  From the team selected, the owner will choose a franchise player.  This franchise player will not enter the draft.  For example, if you picked the Dolphins, more than likely, your franchise player would be Dan Marino. 2nd There is some strategy to whom you pick for your franchise player.  The total pts. (running speed, passing control, hitting power...) of the particular player, indicates the draft order.  For example, Dan Marino has a total of 401 pts. where as QB Eagles has 433.  The Dolphins would draft before the Eagles. 3rd BE A PROPER TECMO PLAYER!!!  All of us have played others before (online or on the old nes).  So everyone knows you should wait for the defensive player to select a guy or allow your opponent to change plays before the starting the game.  Things like that!!! GAME PLAY 1st You are allowed to be Defensive Lineman, but NO Nose Tackles.  This is because of the "learching trick". 2nd As of now, onside kicks will be permitted. 3rd In a season game, send the game ending snap(stats screen) to my email address.  Nesticle will save a *.pcx file.  This way I can keep records. 4th If a game is disconnected in the middle of play, then reconnect, and play the remainder and add the two scores together.  For example, you're disconnected after half time, play another half and add the scores together.  Unfortunately, this will happen.  The stats will be useless in these cases. 5th Set the v-frame laency to 11 and turn the sound off for less lag. MISSING GAMES 1st Try not to miss scheduled games.  If you have too, email your scheduled opponent and myself.  Please give us 3 times (reasonable times) that you could possibly make the game up.   2nd One missed scheduled game (without making it up) and you will be warned, the second game, you will be booted from league play. 3rd If the game is not made up, then the team forfeits.  If both teams make no attempts to reschedule, I will put the teams on COM vs COM and let the computer play for you.
